Alden Shipping is committed to operating independently within the scope of its services. We adhere strictly to the requirements set forth by ISO/IEC 17020:2012 – General Criteria for the Operation of Various Types of Bodies Performing Inspection and particularly the minimum conditions outlined in Annex A, including:
Full Independence: We maintain complete independence from all parties related to the subject of inspection.
No Conflicts of Interest: Neither the company nor its personnel engage in any activity that may jeopardize the independence and objectivity of our inspections. Specifically, we do not design, manufacture, supply, install, purchase, own, operate, or maintain the items we inspect.
Structural Separation: We are not structurally or legally affiliated with any organization that undertakes any such roles regarding the items we inspect.
No Influence from Affiliated Entities: We are not tied to any other legal entity involved in the design, production, or usage of inspected items through:
Shared ownership that could influence inspection results;
Management board representation that could lead to biased outcomes;
Reporting to the same executive management that could compromise neutrality;
Contractual or financial agreements that might affect objectivity.
In essence, we are unwavering in our commitment to independence, impartiality, and integrity. We strictly avoid any association with the design, production, or supply of the items under inspection. Our services are offered equally to all organizations, regardless of size, location, political stance, or social standing. Every client is treated with scientific evaluation methods, without bias or external pressure.
